오른손의 좋은 세상만들기

삼성이 포기한줄만 알았던 fitness tracker시장에 다시 들어왔네요. 비교적 일찍 이쪽 시장을 개척할수도 있었는데 1-2년 투자도 못하고 그냥 포기하는게 삼성식이고 한국식이지요. 그래서 한국이 미래가 없다고 하는건데 그건 잊지 말아야겠습니다.

어쨌든 외관과 스펙만 봐서는 아주 잘 만들것으로 보여집니다.(한국은 다른사람이 마켓을 다 개척해 놓으면 fast follower로 따라가는것은 독보적 세계1위입니다. 이건 인정할만합니다.) 가격도 $179로 시작가격으로도 아주 좋다고 생각됩니다. AMOLED를 쓰고도 배터리도 4일정도 간다고 하니 좋고요. Fitbit을 밴치마케팅해서 여러 좋은 data가 track이 가능한것 같습니다. AMOLED 스크린에 보여준다면 아주 예쁘게도 표시할수 있을것 같습니다.

중요한 점은 핏빗을 잘 벤치마크해보면 SNS기능도 좋고 B2B로 회사도 뚫고 있는데 그런것도 잘 따라하면 좋을것 같습니다.

업계 lead인 fitbit은 정말 열심히고, 샤오미(xiaomi)와 가민(garmin)도 아주 잘 하고 있는데 삼성도 아주 잘했으면 좋겠습니다.

GPS가 포함된점이 놀랍네요. 내부에 4GB storage가 왜 필요한지 궁금하네요. RAM은 512MB나 되고요. 전작보다 작은 배터리에도 스크린은 커졌고 배터리는 오래가고, 아주 훌륭하게 만들어 냈네요.

안드로이드만 지원하는것은 완전 반쪽짜리네요.

스마트홈 시장에 대한 자료입니다.

스마트홈 관련 전체적으로 성장이 골고르네요. 아무거나 하나 잡아서 해도 10년은 먹고 살것 같습니다.

아래쪽 smartwatch와 smart band(스포츠 트랙커, sports and fitness tracker) 시장의 연결방법(connectivity)에 대한 내용이 나오는데 bluetooth는 여전히 성장하지만 WIFI의 성장이 눈에 뜁니다. watch류는 bluetooth와 wifi가 default로 포함될것으로 예상됩니다.
