한국은 젊은이들의 자살률이 연일 기록을 갱신하고 있지만,

미국은 복무중인 군인들의 자살률이 9/11테러이후, 테러와의 전쟁이 시작되면서 급격히 증가하고 있는 추이를 보이고 있습니다.

한국은 사회적 약자들이 살기 어렵기 때문에 자사률이 높아지는 것을 반영하고 있다면

미국은 현대 젊은이들의 전쟁의 참옥함과 스트레스를 참지 못하고 자살하는 것과 관계가 있어보입니다.

아래 data는 현재 복무중인 군인들의 자살률이지만, 제대하고 민간인으로 된 이후에 사회에 적응못하고 범죄를 저지르거나 자살하는 문제까지 많이 있습니다. 인간의 가치가 바닥으로 떨어지는 모든 전쟁은 정말 없어야 겠습니다.

U.S. military suicides remain high for 7th year

The Pentagon reported Friday that 265 active-duty service members killed themselves last year, continuing a trend of unusually high suicide rates that have plagued the U.S. military for at least seven years.The numbers of suicides among troops was 145 in 2001 and began a steady increase until more than doubling to 321 in 2012, the worst year in recent history for service members killing themselves.The suicide rate for the Army that year was nearly 30 suicides per 100,000 soldiers, well above the national rate of 12.5 per 100,000 for 2012.Military suicides dropped 20% the year after that, and then held roughly steady at numbers significantly higher than during the early 2000s. The 265 suicides last year compares with 273 in 2014 and 254 in 2013. By contrast, from 2001 through 2007, suicides never exceeded 197.

건강은 건강할때 지켜야지요. 꾸준히 운동하고 먹는것도 가려서 먹어야지요.

2016년을 맞아 건강을 위해 투자하는 사람이 늘고 가격도 올라가고 있습니다. 무려 40% 이상이 $500불 이상을 쓸 의향이 있다고 대답했습니다.

미국은 싼것이 너무 많은데 핼스클럽이 특히나 싸지요. 24 Hour Fitness는 costco에서 2년 membership을 사면 400불밖에 안합니다. 매달 17불정도지요. 크기와 시설도 장난아니라서 어려가지 운동을 즐길수 있습니다. 샤워만 매일해도 이 돈을 뽑는다는 계산도 나옵니다.

Fitbit이나 Apple watch같은 wearable device도 47% 매일 사용한다고 했습니다. 사용자 숫자도 늘고 비중도 점점 더 커지겠지요.

MS 스티브 발머가 CEO에서 내려온후 LA Clippers를 $2B 사서 구단주가 되었지요. 원래 $1B정도 가치로 추정되던 클립퍼스를 저 가격에 사다니 했는데 아주 좋은 사업수완을 발휘해서 Clippers가 성적도 좋아지고 팬들도 많아지고 가치를 올려가고 있는중입니다. 여기에도 추정 가치를 $2B으로 놓았네요.

NBA에서 가장 핫한 Golden State Warriors가 생각보다 순위가 낮네요. 하지만 마이클 조단이 투자한 때에 비해서 계속 가치를 올리고 있는것을 사실인것 같습니다. 성적도 좋지만 스티브 발머가 LA Clippers에 말도 안되는 돈으로 가격을 높힌 덕분에 다른 팀들의 가치고 천정부지로 같이 오른것 같습니다. 마이클 조던이 스포츠 투자에도 좋은 결과를 내고 있는것 같네요.

성적대비가격으로 가장 싸다고 생각되는 팀은 샌 안토니오 스퍼스

대도시기 때문에 팬들이 많아 가치가 높은 뉴욕 닉스과 LA 레이커스. 이러니 많은 팀들이 대도시로 옮기고 싶어 난리지요. 이것도 비즈니스 이니까요.

끝에서 5개는 빨리 청산하는게 이득인 팀들도 많네요. NBA에서 돈 벌어 하위업체에게 보조금을 뿌려주지 않는다면요.
